Judith Bigham is an enthusiastic art and design doyenne. She is a painter, muralist and printmaker, whose work ranges from botanicals to colorful abstractions and illustrative drawings. Judith attended The Rhode Island School of Design and studied both painting and textile design, paving the way for an a-list client list that includes Barney’s, Fred Segal, ABC Carpet and Home and most recently, Erik Lindstrom.
Her fine art and decorative art background has its roots in the classical traditions, but seamlessly molds with contemporary styles and interiors. Her botanical rug designs take a soft, watercolor approach which play with both color gradation, pile height and a mixture of wool and silk materials. It's these nuances which take a simplistic leaf to an elevated, more complex level and medium.
